This short documentary captures the Inclusive Youth Football Pilot delivered in Lodwar, Turkana County by The PlayAble Network in partnership with Hill Side FC. Through the voices of players, parents, and coaches, it tells part of the story of the pilot and the people who took part in it. While the pilot may have come to an end, the connections created and the conversations started along the way will continue long after the final session.

Day 6 | Lodwar, Turkana County The final day of the programme brought players, coaches, parents, and community members together as the week came to a close. Alongside discussions led by the Hill Side FC coaches and The PlayAble Network team, the boys spoke openly about their experiences, their ambitions, and the role they can play in supporting one another both as teammates and as friends. Parents who joined the sessions also shared words of encouragement, adding to the sense of community that had grown throughout the programme. As the pilot concluded, the week ended with a sense of encouragement and shared purpose, carrying forward the connections, lessons, and conversations that began on the field and continued beyond it.

Day 4 & 5 | Lodwar, Turkana County As activities continued, the boys spent more time on the field in training sessions and small-sided games, working through drills, playing, and building teamwork along the way. Alongside the training, mentorship sessions brought the boys together in conversation, where they reflected on their experiences, challenges and their ambitions moving forward. The sessions on and off the field kept the energy of the week moving, with football and conversation shaping each day in different ways.
